Beaches

The closest beach to the villa is Chrissi Akti or Golden beach (13 km) as its known and it is a sandy beach that consists of two coves separated by a hill. The westernmost cove is more popular whereas the other one is less crowded and organised. The area hosts pines and eucalyptus trees and is ideal for jogging. Furthermore, informal volleyball games are played in the afternoons.

More beaches near the villa we suggest you to visit are :

Kalives beach (17,9 km): Kalives offers two sandy beaches with shallow waters, separated by Xidas River and connected by a small bridge at the exit of the river to the sea. Both beaches, Xidas & Maistrali, are well organized and their waters are clean and clear, enriched by sweet water coming from the river. When visiting Kalives, you should not miss a stroll through the beautiful alleys of the settlement and the nearby sites of Aptera & Palekastro.   

- Kato Stalos beach ( 19.6 km): , which is the coastal part of the wider area called Stalos, has a fantastic sandy beach. The beach is very well organized and provides any required touristic services. Therefire, the beach is awarded every year with blue flag.

- Loutraki beach (27 km): Loutraki beach is a waveless beach with fine sand, between the rocky shore of the bay. Also there you will find restaurants and beach bars.

- Marathi beach (28 km): Marathi has two wonderful beaches, divided by the pier of the harbor. None of the two do take precedence over the other, both are sandy and well organized with sun beds and umbrellas. Although those magical beaches are one and a half hour drive away from the villa, we definitely suggest you to visit them as we assure you that you will leave with unforgettable memories.
